PART-TIME SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Working Schedule: Part-time/based on school needs
Start Date: As soon as possible
Sekolah Anak Merdeka is looking for a Part-Time School Psychologist to support the wellbeing, development, and learning needs of our students. We are looking for someone who sees psychology not only as assessment and intervention, but also as a way to help children understand themselves, build healthy relationships, develop resilience, and become confident learners. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct psychological observations and assessments of students when needed.
• Provide individual or small-group psychological support for students.
• Identify students’ emotional, social, behavioral, and developmental needs.
• Provide professional recommendations and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and homeroom teachers to support students in the classroom.
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ developmental, emotional, or behavioral needs when required.
• Support the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
• Provide consultation and guidance to teachers on student wellbeing, behavior, and classroom strategies.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and confidentiality of student information.
• Participate in relevant school meetings, case discussions, and student support programs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology.
• Professional Psychologist certification (Psikolog) is required.
• Experience working with children and/or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Good understanding of child development, social-emotional development, and positive behavioral support.
• Able to conduct observations, assessments, and provide appropriate psychological recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Warm, patient, observant, and child-centered in approach.
• Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
