About the Role
Lead engineering projects, New Product Introduction (NPI), and model transfers from development to mass production. This role serves as the key technical liaison with the mother company, ensuring engineering requirements, changes, and project deliverables are properly implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects, NPI, and model transfers from development to mass production.
- Manage BOM, engineering drawings, specifications, Work Instructions (WI), and document revision control.
- Coordinate engineering changes (ECR/ECN/ECO) and ensure proper implementation.
- Liaise with the mother company on technical requirements, engineering changes, and technical clarifications.
- Lead local supplier development for packaging, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and other engineering requirements.
- Coordinate technical document translation, review, and distribution.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Tooling teams to ensure project alignment.
- Oversee sample development, trials, validation, and supplier technical follow-up.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, and action plans to ensure on-time completion.
- Lead and develop the Project & Technical Engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience in NPI, model transfer, and supplier development is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOM, engineering drawings, specifications, engineering changes, and technical documentation.
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
