Kampong Teripang is the world's first sea cucumber-based ecotourism village. This unique destination offers unforgettable experiences centered around the utilization of sea cucumbers (holothurians) and all aspects of their seagrass ecosystem habitat.
Role Description
As a Program Manager, you'll lead environmental initiatives in Bintan, with a focus on marine conservation and climate action, while collaborating with various international organizations. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, strong skills in proposal writing, program design, and stakeholder engagement, and a background in marine or environmental sciences. Candidates must be target-driven, adaptable, and open to occasional travel.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Project Management, Planning, and Execution skills
- Having Background knowledge from Environmental, Climate Change, Marine Conservation, social or related fields.
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science, Public Relation, Fisheries and Marine Science, Oceanography, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
- Strong English communication, networking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented and able to work under targets.
- Experienced in designing program proposals related to Social-Environmental Initiatives, Blue Carbon, and Climate Change.
- Proven experience in project management and stakeholder communication.
- Willing to work on-site in Bintan. (MUST)
- Flexible for assignments all over country/area when required.
