Production Team Leader

As we expand our operations, we are looking for a hands-on and proactive Production Team Leader to lead our on-site Data Factory team in Batam.

Role Overview:

The Production Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team that handles the collection, processing, validation, and packaging of data from industrial systems. You’ll be ensuring high-quality deliverables, operational efficiency, and smooth coordination between local and regional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day data processing activities in the Batam facility.
• Lead and develop a team of data technicians/operators to meet project timelines and KPIs.
• Monitor data quality and consistency; perform checks and implement quality control procedures.
• Manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data or process issues and suggest improvements.
• Ensure documentation of processes, SOPs, and team performance metrics.
• Act as the point of contact between the Batam team and headquarters in Singapore.

Requirements:

• Experience in a production or operations role with team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of data workflows or digital production processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willingness to be based full-time in Batam.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in electronics, IT, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with data collection systems, IoT devices, or related tools.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods (Lean, 5S, etc.).
• Ability to speak and understand Chinese will be a strong bonus.
