About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at PT YKK Zipper Indonesia in Depok, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the daily production activities to meet quality, quantity, and timeline objectives
- Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, including training, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and operational standards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as planning, maintenance, and quality control, to optimise production processes
- Analyse production data and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making
- Implement and maintain effective production planning and control systems
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Strong analytical and data-driven skills to optimise production performance
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both verbal and written
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
