Job Descriptions:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the device assembly team to ensure efficient production operations.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to assembly workers on work procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to production schedules, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Evaluate the performance of assembly workers, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Train new employees on assembly techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance activities.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, propose and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing safety regulations and promoting a clean and organized work environment.
- Resolve production-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, material shortages, and personnel conflicts.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, including productivity metrics, quality control data, and workforce performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to manual assembly techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to optimize production processes and achieve overall business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / D3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering; additional technical education or certification in manufacturing or production management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manual assembly related / factory with high number of operators (i.e.Cosmetics, Electronics, Garment).
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve production issues effectively.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
- Able to work on shift whenever required
