About Silkana
Silkana is a small independent swimwear brand producing handmade bikinis in Bali. We work with local tailors and crochet artisans and supply selected shops around Bali, as well as selling online.
We are looking for an organized, responsible, and proactive person to join our small Bali team and help coordinate the day-to-day operations of the business.
Main Responsibilities
• Follow up on production with our tailor and crochet suppliers.
• Keep production records updated: ordered, delivered, pending, and items under repair.
• Receive production and check quantities against orders.
• Help with quality control and stock organization.
• Process monthly sales reports from our consignment shops.
• Prepare shop restocking and Consignment Delivery Notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records for the office and shops.
• Organize supplier invoices, expenses, sales reports, and documents for our accountant.
• Process occasional online orders and shipments from Bali.
• Compare shipping options (DHL, FedEx and Post Indonesia) and follow shipments until delivery.
• Keep office records and paperwork organized.
• Communicate and follow up with suppliers and shops when needed.
You will work together with another team member who already helps with suppliers, production, quality control, packing, and deliveries.
Training will be provided for Silkana's systems and processes.
Requirements
IMPORTANT - BALI BASED CANDIDATES ONLY
Candidates must currently live in Bali. We are not considering candidates who would need to relocate to Bali for this position
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills, especially Excel / Google Sheets.
• Organized and careful with numbers and details.
• Able to work independently and follow up on tasks without constant reminders.
• Practical, responsible and proactive.
• Comfortable communicating with suppliers and shops.
• Good at organizing and prioritizing daily tasks.
• Previous experience in administration, retail, fashion or production is an advantage.
This is a practical coordination and administration role within a small company. We are looking for someone reliable and motivated who would like to become a long-term part of Silkana.
