We are looking for a pioneering Production Manager to lead on-site farm operations and drive operational excellence.
Position: Production Manager
Employment Type: Contract / Perjanjian Kerja Bersama (PKB) — 6 Months
Initial Placement: Belitung (Batu Penyu Area)
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible (Latest: End of September 2026)
Mobility Requirements: High mobility within Indonesia for various project sites
Compensation: IDR 10,000,000 – IDR 20,000,000+ (Net / Take-Home Pay, negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations Management: Direct and oversee all day-to-day operational activities across culture ponds, infrastructure, and field teams.
- Emergency Rectification & Problem Solving: Make swift, reliable decisions to handle urgent or emergency operational issues on-site.
- Production Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute feeding programs, target growth schemes, water parameter protocols, and harvest schedules.
- Field Observation & Sampling: Conduct regular anco (feed tray) observations, volumetric/biomass sampling, and growth evaluations.
- Stakeholder & Team Communication: Clearly articulate production strategies, daily action checklists, and operational reports to field technicians, management, and project stakeholders.
- Data & Software Utilization: Maintain precise operational records using standard office software (e.g., Excel) and adopt modern digital tools—specifically PANEN, the UdangX Farm Management Software.
- Fry Selection & Onboarding: Oversee nursery preparation, fry quality assessments, and stocking decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Field Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing semi-intensive or intensive Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp farms operating at high stocking densities.
Onboarding Availability: Ready to join immediately or by late September 2026.
Location & Mobility: Willing to be initially placed in Belitung (Batu Penyu) and flexible to travel to other farm project sites across Indonesia as needed.
Technical Familiarity:
Skilled in feeding program design, biomass forecasting, and health monitoring.
Preferred: Hands-on experience or familiarity with advanced filtration systems, including UV, Ozone, and Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP).
Preferred: Experience operating flow-through and Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
Preferred: Practical experience in fry selection and hatchery quality evaluation.
Software Competency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; prior experience using digitized aquaculture management applications is a strong plus.
Personal Traits: High sense of ownership, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, agile, and an effective communicator.
