REQUIREMENT:
- Proficiency with measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc…).
- Able to do detailed CAD drawings with proficiency in AutoCad, SolidWorks, and MasterCam.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel (Pivot Table, Custom Function, etc…).
- Knowledgeable in related valve standards (API, ASME, etc…).
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skill.
- Able to work within an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience in oil and gas sector is preferred
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Troubleshoot product performance issues.
- Plans and directs implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.
- Ensure processes and designs are compatible.
- Ensure production complies with drawings and specifications.
- Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical expertise for BMI products
- Support Field Sales to achieve sales targets by providing technical expertise.
- Supervises the day to day activities of the valve technicians. Interface with both internal and external customers
- Proposed and implemented solutions to keep products competitive and profitable.
- Ensuring best practices are effectively communicated and implemented across division processes.
- Support Quality and Manufacturing in product maintenance and problem solving.
- Acts as liaison with engineering in the production of products.
- Acts as engineering liaison with product design and development.
- Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, planning and scheduling. Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance with the requirement of API Q1, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Any other duties deemed fit by the management.
KEY AUTHORITY :
- Release the drawing to the production.
