JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Product Manager Email (technical) to join our team and support the management and development of online products for our Medscape brand, which proudly serves the professional health care industry globally. This role will focus on providing analysis and producing business requirement artifacts around our product set and data platform, including internal email products and integrating with affiliate sites that have joined the Medscape Network.
This role is responsible for:
- Leading requirements gathering sessions in collaboration with the several stakeholder teams, including: marketing, development (engineering, QA, and PMO), production, and business intelligence;
- Creating and maintaining documentation and related artifacts (eg. data dictionaries, user/data flows) for Email Platform initiatives
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies;
- Coordinating tightly with PMO and other teams on developing plans for affiliate integration
- Understanding and informing product solutions for maintaining Email statuses and providing data to multiple systems based on agreed requirements.
The successful candidate will:
- Understand marketing technologies, email platforms, and email production processes;
- Be a passionate advocate for email related data and solutions.
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Be very creative and curious and make regular contributions for new ideas based on market need and analytical conclusions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required skills:
- 3+ years related experience in digital marketing, more technical the better.
- 3+ years in a data-focused role as a Product Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar.
- Expertise in email platforms. SFMC knowledge preferred.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with SFMC, especially migrations and integrating with other systems via API or via exports/imports
- Experience in Product Management in a Software, SAAS, or Web Applications;
- Experience within a digital marketing team with a focus on email marketing
