Job description for Product Innovation & Development at Harlette Beauty
Job Descriptions :
- Conduct formulation development from concept to finished formula.
- Conduct testing for both new and existing products, including stability tests, compatibility tests, and product performance evaluations.
- Source and evaluate raw materials; coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support scale-up and pilot production to ensure product quality meets formulation standards.
- Evaluate product performance and propose improvements when needed.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation for formulas, test results, and raw material data.
- Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant safety and BPOM regulations.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in beauty industry.
- Up-to-date with skincare and cosmetic trends, ingredients, and product innovations.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulation principles, and product stability.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in troubleshooting formulation issues.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.
