Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate closely with Merchandiser, Pattern Maker, CMT, and QC throughout the product development process.
• Lead product development from concept, sampling, to final production.
• Review fashion design concepts, technical drawings, and product specifications.
• Review patterns and basic garment construction (pattern making and sewing techniques) to ensure production accuracy.
• Coordinate sample development with Pattern Makers and CMT vendors, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into the final product.
• Review sample measurements, workmanship, and overall quality together with the QC team.
• Communicate product feedback and coordinate revisions between Design, Production, and CMT vendors.
• Ensure all products meet design standards, technical specifications, quality expectations, and production timelines.
• Prepare and maintain product development documentation, including sample tracking and approval records.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Product Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Product Development, Garment, Apparel, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of fashion design, garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.
• Familiarity with garment development processes, including sampling and production.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with CMT/vendors is an advantage.
• Available to join immediately or within a short notice period is highly preferred.
