Product Development Intern

Responsibilities :

- Assist in conducting market research on local and international beauty trends to support new product concept development.

- Support the end-to-end product development process, including concept ideation, formulation discussions, packaging development, and commercialization preparation.

- Collect, analyze, and summarize qualitative and quantitative research data from internal and external respondents to generate actionable insights.

- Assist in coordinating consumer testing activities, including recruiting and communicating with external respondents for product evaluations.

- Compile and evaluate consumer feedback and market research findings to support product improvement and decision-making.

- Prepare product knowledge materials and market insight reports for internal stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and - Creative, to support project execution and alignment.

- Track project progress and assist in ensuring product development activities are completed according to timelines.

- Monitor local and global beauty, skincare, and cosmetic trends, ingredients, and industry innovations to support product development initiatives.

Requirements :

- Fresh graduate in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related field (other majors with relevant knowledge or interest in beauty product development are welcome to apply).

- Strong interest in beauty, skincare, or cosmetic product development and market trends.

- Basic understanding of skincare or makeup ingredients, formulation, and beauty industry trends is preferred.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in research projects, product development, beauty-related organizations, or internships is a plus.
