We’re looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Product Development & Design Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for fashion, enjoy supporting the product development process, and are excited to bring creative ideas to life, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing design concepts from idea to production.
- Prepare sketches, technical specifications (spec sheets), and product documentation.
- Support fabric, trim, color, and material sourcing and testing.
- Coordinate sample development and communicate revisions with the production team.
- Assist during product fittings and update designs based on feedback.
- Help prepare cost calculations, product data, and project timelines.
- Support communication with clients, suppliers, and production teams regarding product development.
- Conduct research on fashion trends, market insights, and customer preferences.
- Maintain organized records of designs, samples, and product development progress.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Basic understanding of garment construction, textiles, and sewing techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
