Product Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on travel destinations, tourism trends, and customer preferences.

• Develop concepts and itineraries for new tour products.

• Develop and manage domestic, international, corporate, incentive, and special interest tour packages.

• Analyze the margin and profitability of each tour product.

• Conduct competitor analysis to identify market opportunities and ensure product competitiveness.

• Evaluate existing tour products based on customer feedback, sales performance, and market trends.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Ticketing, and Tour Operation teams to ensure products are marketable and operationally feasible.

• Develop product knowledge, itineraries, quotations, and supporting materials for the Sales and Marketing teams.

• Create customized tour packages based on corporate client requirements.

• Develop attractive and compelling tour product proposals for clients and business partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (D3/S1), preferably in Tourism, Travel Management, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a travel agency or tour operator, particularly in product development, tour operation, or itinerary planning.

• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Creative and innovative in developing travel concepts and itineraries.

• Strong market and competitor analysis skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.

• Willing to conduct site inspections, product research, and destination visits when required.
