About SEMA
SEMA Rewards is a performance Clipping / UGC platform & agency. We run managed clipping campaigns across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with a network of thousand of short-form video creators.
The problem you will work on
We have thousands of registered creators and a small fraction of them make it to their first payout. Your job is to fix that funnel: sign-up, first campaign, first clip, first payout. And to make SEMA look like a product creators trust with their money. Both matter. Design decisions get measured against activation, and they have to be beautiful.
What you will do
1. Own the end-to-end design of the clipper web platform and the upcoming mobile app (Expo React Native), from user flow to final pixel.
2. Map and redesign onboarding and first-clip flows based on user data and clipper interviews.
3. Own SEMA's visual language: typography, colour, spacing, iconography, illustration, motion. Build and maintain the design system in Figma (Inter, brand purple, component library) so every screen looks like one product.
4. Work directly with the Founder and one full-stack engineer. No PM layer. You propose, we decide fast, you ship.
5. Run lightweight usability tests with real clippers and report findings with numbers.
6. Design brand-facing dashboards (campaign performance, spend, verified views).
7. Design landing pages, campaign pages, and key marketing surfaces so the product and the brand feel like the same thing.
What we need
1. 1 to 3 years designing shipped digital products, web and mobile.
2. Strong visual craft: you care about type, alignment, hierarchy, and detail, and it shows in your work.
3. Strong Figma: components, variants, auto layout, prototypes.
4. Portfolio showing both polished visual work and user flows with the reasoning behind them.
5. Comfortable reading product analytics and using them to prioritise.
6. Able to write clear specs an engineer can build from without a meeting.
7. Bahasa Indonesia and working English.
Nice to have
- Experience with creator economy, marketplace, fintech, or payout products.
- Design system work from scratch.
- Motion design, Lottie, or micro-interactions.
- Illustration or icon design.
- Familiarity with TikTok and Reels as a creator or clipper.
How we work
Small team, direct communication, weekly priorities mapped. You will have a lot of autonomy and a lot of accountability. Founder reviews anything touching money, payouts, or verification. Everything else is yours.
