Job Description

As a Product Designer at Sinbad you will collaborate with the Product and Software Engineering teams, to imagine and create aesthetic designs for the greatest user experience. You will also be required to gather user requirements, and implement these into innovative and elegant designs that will enhance Sinbad’s users. You will be a key contributor in driving Sinbad’s mission to simplify the supply chain by connecting suppliers and traditional retailers through design.

Who you are and what you’ll be responsible for:

• Detail-oriented: Deliver pixel-perfect wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to the Engineering team.
• Creative: Develop innovative and original UX design solutions that bring value to users, using the latest industry trends and best practices. Have a critical eye for professional aesthetics and detail.
• Collaborative: Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to study, prioritise, draw, present, sharpen, iterate, and sketch innovative solutions for Sinbad’s products. Work together with the Engineering team to suggest improvements to design and performance.
• User-Centric: Perform user research to build the most elegant designs and user experiences with a focus on ease-of-use, simplicity, and capability.
• Goal-Oriented: Understand the global stake of our products, continuously striving to improve our design workflow and processes.

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Design-related field
• Fresh graduates welcome
• Experience with design tools: Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, etc.
• Excellent design capabilities and attention to detail
• Great sensitivity to user experience
• Understand the design process: research, ideation, user journey, etc.
• Familiar with mobile and web user behaviors
• Open to feedback and criticism
• Fluent in both English & Bahasa Indonesia, competent reading and writing abilities in both languages

Preferred Requirements

• Portfolio of design projects
• Excellent research skills
• Previous experience in E-Commerce, Logistics, and/or Fintech platforms
• Excited to work in a start-up environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Critical thinking with problem-solving skills
