Procurement Supervisor

Job Description:

PT. Anugrah Duta Food is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Procurement Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and analytical skills to optimize procurement strategies, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure the efficient flow of materials for production.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost-efficiency and the best value for the company.

Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and delivery schedules.
• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Team Supervision & Coordination:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of procurement staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to procurement standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Production, Finance, and Quality Control) to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials.

Procurement Process Optimization:

• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance and delivery.
• Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and streamline procurement operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust procurement plans as needed to avoid stock shortages or excess.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance for management review.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that procured materials meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the Quality Control department to address any issues related to material quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost negotiation.
• Proficient in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership abilities with experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English (Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
