- Participate in negotiations at country level
- Assist operation team in orienting their choices toward selected partners
- In charges of Middle Office reporting towards management and Middle Office
- Be responsible for entering data in tariff database (especially NAC and local road haulers) in MODB (including tarif, etc.)
- Ensure that payment deadlines negotiated with suppliers are respected and solve any dispute
- Be responsible for business relations with country partners
- Be responsible for data quality of country suppliers
- Optimize purchasing
- Support the Front Office in the setting-up of solutions
- Support tender desk on pricing
- Optimize purchasing and providing freight rates on local charges & freight with clear validity and service details (Route, Transit time, Service type, etc) to the internal requestor, e.g. local customer sales support, network
- Follow up of providers’ service quality
- Be responsible for local market expertise, researches new products and service to meet company’s goals
- Contractualized local contracts with approval of the country/zone
- Ensure Compliance requirements (e.g : FMC, TSA, Security, FCPA, Customs, etc.) are fulfilled in collaboration with HMO Operations
- Manage escalation for final cut DMP (GO/NOGO)
- Guide operations team in partner selection
- Identifying and taking part in negotiating the best procurement options with carriers
- Taking part in the negotiation of freight capacity
- Negotiate the procurement rates for spot shipments, as well as BSA/NAC’s/FAK
- Grouping the country’s procurement negotiation requests, and finding solutions
- Monitor price movements and seasonal price fluctuations
- Establish performance indicators and reports
