Procurement Specialist

Job Description

1. Manage the procurement of marine spare parts, navigation equipment, safety equipment, and operational tools.
2. Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs for vessel spare parts and equipment.
3. Coordinate the replacement and maintenance schedules of navigation and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
4. Manage import processes and procurement documentation for overseas purchases.
5. Coordinate the delivery and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy, security, and on-time shipment.
6. Conduct supplier sourcing, price comparisons, and negotiations to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
7. Analyze logistics and shipping costs and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
8. Prepare procurement, inventory, and logistics reports to support business operations.

Requirements

1. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree (D3/S1) in Accounting, Finance, Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
3. Experienced in supplier sourcing, price comparison, and vendor negotiation.
4. Familiar with import processes, procurement documentation, and Accurate Software.
5. Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
7. Experience in the shipping, marine, or offshore industry is an advantage.
