Job Description
- Manage the procurement of marine spare parts, navigation equipment, safety equipment, and operational tools.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs for vessel spare parts and equipment.
- Coordinate the replacement and maintenance schedules of navigation and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage import processes and procurement documentation for overseas purchases.
- Coordinate the delivery and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy, security, and on-time shipment.
- Conduct supplier sourcing, price comparisons, and negotiations to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Analyze logistics and shipping costs and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare procurement, inventory, and logistics reports to support business operations.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree (D3/S1) in Accounting, Finance, Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
- Experienced in supplier sourcing, price comparison, and vendor negotiation.
- Familiar with import processes, procurement documentation, and Accurate Software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the shipping, marine, or offshore industry is an advantage.
