Our client is a Bali-based regenerative wellness company specializing in premium moringa products. They operate an integrated business model that includes organic moringa farms, a licensed production facility, and a corporate office, ensuring full control over quality from cultivation to finished goods. With a strong commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and health innovation, the company combines regenerative agriculture with modern manufacturing to serve both local and international markets. They are located in Umalas, Bali.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Procurement Specialist to lead all procurement activities across farm, factory, and office operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all materials and operational inputs are sourced on time, meet required specifications, and are secured at the most competitive cost. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vendor management, inventory planning, import logistics, and cost optimization, with the ability to proactively prevent supply chain disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for raw materials, packaging, agricultural inputs, and office operational supplies
- Source, qualify, negotiate, and manage local and international vendors, ensuring at least two suppliers for critical items
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews on delivery, quality, and pricing
- Maintain product and material specification sheets for recurring purchases
- Forecast inventory needs, monitor stock levels, and set proactive reorder points with safety stock buffers
- Flag potential stockout risks at least 4 weeks in advance
- Manage import processes, shipping methods, customs documentation, duties, and BPOM requirements
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and import agents to ensure on-time delivery
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and total landed cost
- Track all purchase orders from request to delivery and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with production, farm, sales, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier benchmarking and shipment consolidation
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industries
- Strong experience in international sourcing and import handling, preferably from China
- Good understanding of Indonesian import regulations, customs, duties, PPN, and BPOM processes
- Experience working with freight forwarders and import agents
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and working English proficiency (Mandarin is a plus)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
- Highly organized with experience managing procurement trackers and inventory planning
- Based in Bali or willing to relocate
For this position, the client’s budget is between IDR 8 - 10jt /month
