Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to support our construction project operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, import processes, vendor management, and company asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the procurement of construction materials, machinery, equipment, and other project-related requirements.
• Handle and coordinate the import and export of construction materials, machinery, equipment, and project-related goods.
• Prepare and manage documentation related to procurement, import, and export activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and relevant government authorities.
• Handle vendor communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up to ensure smooth procurement and operational processes.
• Assist in monitoring and handling import quotas and related regulatory requirements.
• Ensure imported materials and equipment comply with applicable import procedures and regulations.
• Maintain and update records of company assets, including asset registration, movement, maintenance, purchasing, transfer, and disposal/sale.
• Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of company assets and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of construction materials and equipment used for project operations.
• Familiar with and able to operate relevant systems, including SINAS and CEISA 4.0.
• Analyze operational and procurement data and prepare reports and presentations in English.
• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record management for procurement, import-export, and asset-related activities.
• Utilize AI tools and digital technologies to improve efficiency and productivity in completing company tasks.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• Male.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Procurement Engineer, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Must have experience in handling import activities and procedures, including import documentation and coordination with relevant parties.
• Familiar with the procurement of construction materials, machinery, and equipment.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and equipment specifications.
• Familiar with SINAS and CEISA 4.0.
• Knowledge and experience in handling import quotas will be an advantage.
• Experience in communicating, coordinating, and negotiating with vendors, suppliers, freight forwarders, and other external parties.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Able to analyze data and prepare professional reports and docume
• ntation in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with AI tools and able to utilize AI to support and improve efficiency in daily work processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
