About the Role
HaLo School is looking for a Principal & Lead Teacher to lead our academic quality, student development, teachers, and learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of HaLo School’s educational philosophy and HartLogic Curriculum.
* Monitor children’s learning, development, behavior, and wellbeing.
* Observe and evaluate classroom practices and student development.
* Lead, mentor, and support teachers in their daily teaching practices.
* Develop and review lesson plans and learning activities.
* Support teachers in understanding and responding to children’s individual needs.
* Maintain a safe, positive, and child-centered learning environment.
* Communicate student development and relevant concerns with parents professionally.
* Support teacher recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
* Develop and improve academic SOPs and learning systems.
* Coordinate school programs, activities, and academic development.
* Actively participate in teaching as **Guru Utama** and become a role model for the teaching team.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology, Psychology, or Early Childhood Education.
* Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of child development and behavior.
* Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Able to mentor and collaborate with teachers.
* Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Passionate about child-centered education and holistic child development.
* Willing to actively engage in classroom activities, not only administrative work.
* English proficiency is preferred.
* Alignment with HaLo School’s Islamic values and educational philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience as a Principal, Academic Coordinator, Lead Teacher, Senior Teacher, Child Psychologist, School Psychologist, or similar role.
* Experience in early childhood education.
* Experience in curriculum development, classroom observation, or teacher training.
