1. Job Summary
Darsyafii School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Primary Mathematics & Science Teacher to join our growing academic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong Sunnah character.
We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, student development, and creating a positive, supportive, and meaningful learning environment.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
- Develop structured lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to support students’ learning objectives.
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate students’ academic progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate learning support.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry through interactive and hands-on learning activities.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Integrate Sunnah values and character development into daily teaching practices.
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers, curriculum coordinators, and school leadership to ensure consistent academic standards.
- Participate actively in school activities, academic meetings, professional development, and other school programs.
3. Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the Primary School level.
- Experience teaching both Mathematics and Science is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to design engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons.
- Competent in lesson planning, student assessment, and progress monitoring.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Strong organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
