Kinder Shine Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team in Surakarta, Central Java. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early education and development of our young learners. This is a casual position, offering you the flexibility to balance your work and personal life.
What you'll be doing
- Creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth
- Implementing a nurturing, safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Monitoring and assessing children's progress, and providing individualised attention and support as needed
- Collaborating with parents and caregivers to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to each child's development
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as per school policies and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Preschool Teacher, with a demonstrated ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Patience, creativity and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young learners
- Familiarity with early childhood education best practices, including the implementation of play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and a good command of English
