Presales & Technical Engineer – Data Center Facility Maintenance
We are looking for a Presales & Technical Engineer to support our Data Center Facility Maintenance business. This role will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements for data center facility maintenance and technical services.
- Support the sales team in preparing technical proposals, quotations, tenders, and presentations.
- Conduct site surveys and assess existing data center facility systems.
- Develop maintenance solutions and technical recommendations based on customer requirements.
- Prepare scope of work, maintenance plans, manpower requirements, and technical documents.
- Support technical discussions and presentations with customers.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, commercial, procurement, and vendor teams.
- Provide technical clarification and support during the tender and project handover process.
- Assist in estimating project costs, manpower, tools, equipment, and other technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Center, Facility Management, MEP, Operation & Maintenance, Engineering, or Technical Presales.
- Good understanding of critical facility systems such as :
- Electrical systems
- UPS and Generator
- HVAC / Chiller / CRAC / CRAH
- BMS / EPMS
- Fire Protection Systems
- Able to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willing to travel for site surveys and business requirements.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
