PR & Creative Strategist

Requirements:

• Previous experience in PR, communications or an agency environment

• Existing relationships with Bali and Indonesian media

• Strong understanding of media relations and how to build and maintain genuine media relationships

• Strong strategic and creative thinking

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English

• Able to independently turn a brief into a strategy, creative concept and proposal

• Strong PowerPoint / Google Slides / Canva skills with experience creating professional proposal decks

• Comfortable working with PR data, media monitoring and monthly reporting

• Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, F&B and tourism is a strong advantage

• Fast, responsive and dependable

• Highly organised with excellent time-management skills

• Able to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Excellent attention to detail

• Based in Bali, Indonesia

What you'll do:
PR Strategy & Consultancy

• Develop PR strategies and communication plans for clients

• Provide ongoing PR consultancy and strategic recommendations

• Identify relevant PR opportunities, partnerships, collaborations and story angles

• Understand each client’s objectives and proactively recommend ways to strengthen their visibility and positioning

Media Relations

• Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with journalists, editors, media and relevant industry contacts

• Develop and maintain up-to-date media lists

• Pitch stories, press releases, interviews and other opportunities to relevant media

• Handle media invitations, follow-ups and communications

• Maintain relationships with media beyond individual campaigns or events

• Proactively identify media opportunities for clients

Media Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor media coverage and relevant industry news

• Track and document client coverage accurately

• Maintain monthly media coverage data and records

• Prepare monthly PR reports including coverage, media value, results, key activities and relevant insights

• Analyse results and recommend improvements or opportunities for the following month

Creative & Concept Development

• Develop creative concepts for campaigns, events, activations and brand projects

• Turn client briefs into strong strategic and creative concepts

• Create clear, well-structured and persuasive client proposal decks

• Develop campaign angles, key messaging and storytelling concepts

• Present ideas and recommendations confidently to clients

Project & Client Management

• Manage multiple clients, projects and deadlines simultaneously

• Coordinate with clients, media, partners, vendors and internal team members

• Keep projects moving and ensure agreed deliverables are completed properly and on time

• Take ownership of projects from brief through execution and reporting
