Port Custom Clearance

We are seeking a dedicated Port Custom Clearance professional to join our dynamic team at PT CAHAYA LAMBANG LOGISTIK' in Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our import/export and customs operations, ensuring the seamless clearance of goods through the port.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and manage the customs clearance process for imported and exported goods

Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Liaise with customs officials, port authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely clearance of shipments

Maintain detailed records and reports of all customs-related activities

Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the clearance process

Continuously stay updated with changes in customs regulations and procedures

Provide support and guidance to the logistics team on customs-related matters

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of experience in port custom clearance or a related field

Thorough understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with customs officials and other stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and resolve customs-related issues

Proficient in relevant software, such as customs management systems and office productivity tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all customs-related activities
