Grow in TAG is seeking a warm, passionate, and dedicated Playgroup Homeroom Teacher to join our growing early years team. The ideal candidate loves working with young learners, is creative in delivering engaging lessons, and is committed to nurturing both academic and emotional growth in children aged 2-4 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily learning activities in alignment with the Singapore-Cambridge curriculum, using age-appropriate strategies and materials.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and early development.
- Design and implement lesson plans with structured routines, incorporating Montessori-inspired methods and hands-on learning.
- Observe and document students’ progress, providing regular updates to parents and the academic team.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support children’s development in language, early numeracy, motor skills, and socio-emotional awareness.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning space, ensuring high standards of care.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience teaching young learners in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience or training in Montessori is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills (e.g. Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Passionate about early years education, with a patient, compassionate, and engaging teaching style.
