About the role
PT Abimanyu Sekar Nusantara is seeking a Planning Production Staff to join our operations team in Purwakarta, Jawa Barat. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing operations through effective production planning and scheduling. You will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery of products whilst maintaining quality standards. This role is essential to the efficiency and success of our production department, directly contributing to our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to planned schedules and timelines
- Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Prepare production reports detailing output, efficiency metrics, and variances from planned schedules
- Liaise between sales, procurement, and production departments to align production plans with demand and resource availability
- Analyse production data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements
- Support capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions to maintain workflow continuity
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production planning systems and tools, including ERP software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
- Understanding of supply chain management and inventory control principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
