Position Title: Physics Teacher

Job Overview:
Spark Bali is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher, who is also capable of teaching Foundation-Level Mathematics. The ideal candidate is student-centered, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics at upper secondary and junior college levels (IGCSE, A-Level, or similar).
- Teach Foundation Mathematics to support students’ core numeracy and analytical skills.
- Plan, prepare, and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress in a timely and constructive manner.
- Provide academic support through one-on-one sessions when needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary learning, and school programs.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Prior teaching experience in an international curriculum is preferred (Cambridge, Edexcel, iB, etc) .
- Ability to teach Foundation Mathematics confidently.
- Demonstrated ability to teach students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (for candidates currently domiciled outside Bali).
- Availability to commence teaching in the new Academic Year.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Passion for education and student development.
