We are seeking a creative and passionate Perfumer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing innovative fragrance creations, improving existing formulas, and supporting the development of products that align with our brand identity and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create new fragrance formulations based on product briefs and market needs.
- Evaluate, modify, and optimize fragrance formulas to achieve desired olfactory profiles.
- Conduct research on fragrance trends, consumer preferences, and emerging ingredients.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Quality Control teams throughout the product development process.
- Maintain accurate records of formulations, trials, and development projects.
- Ensure all fragrance formulas comply with quality standards and applicable industry regulations.
- Perform fragrance stability and performance testing.
- Support the expansion of the company's fragrance portfolio through innovative scent concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Perfumer, Fragrance Developer, R&D Fragrance Specialist, or related position is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fragrance ingredients, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and fragrance composition.
- Understanding of fragrance formulation and product development processes.
- Excellent creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for fragrances and a strong understanding of perfume market trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing fragrances for perfumes, personal care, home fragrance, or cosmetic products.
- Knowledge of IFRA standards and fragrance industry regulations.
- A fragrance portfolio or proven track record of successful fragrance creations is a strong advantage.
