Apoidea Music Collective is currently searching for a part-time Percussion Teacher who is energetic, creative, and passionate about helping students experience music in an engaging and expressive way.
This role is suitable for someone who:
* Loves rhythm, groove, movement, and musical interaction
* Enjoys teaching children, teens, or adults
* Can create fun and engaging percussion experiences
* Is expressive, patient, and encouraging
* Enjoys ensemble playing and collaborative music-making
🎵 Instruments & activities may include:
* Cajon
* Djembe
* Drum set
* Hand percussion
* Body percussion
* Rhythm games & group ensemble activities
🌱 We would love someone who can:
* Teach strong rhythm foundations in a fun way
* Encourage creativity and confidence through percussion
* Adapt lessons to different ages and learning styles
* Prepare students for performances and showcases
✨ Bonus points if you:
* Have experience teaching children or group classes
* Enjoy interactive and movement-based teaching
* Can combine percussion with creative music activities
