About the role
This role involves two-way oral and written translation between Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian, accompanying visits to factories and customers, and translating business meetings. You will translate business WhatsApp messages, quotation letters, product specification documents and other materials, and connect communication between Chinese and local Indonesian partners. You will also assist with daily foreign trade administration work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform two-way oral and written translation between Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian
- Accompany visits to factories and customers and translate business meetings
- Translate business WhatsApp messages, quotation letters, and product specification documents
- Connect communication between Chinese parties and local Indonesian partners
- Assist with daily foreign trade administration work
About you
- Proficient in speaking, listening, reading and writing Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian
- Able to operate office software Word and Excel
- Honest, responsible and detail-oriented
- Willing to travel outside the office to visit factories and customers
- Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) education
- Experience in foreign trade is preferred
