WE ARE HIRING – MASTER TAILOR

COUTURE MODE BALI | CANGGU, BALI

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MASTER TAILOR / LEAD PATTERN MAKER to join our professional dressmaking team.

This is a senior tailoring position. You will be the Lead Tailor in our store, responsible for pattern making, garment construction and ensuring all garments are finished to the highest professional standards.

STRICT REQUIREMENTS

MUST have excellent pattern-making skills across all types of women's clothing.

Extensive experience in women's dressmaking, including dresses, eveningwear, fitted garments, trousers, skirts, blouses and more.

Able to create accurate patterns from measurements, photographs and client designs.

Excellent understanding of garment construction, fitting, alterations and finishing techniques.

Confident working independently from design through to finished garment.

Able to make pattern adjustments and solve fitting problems.

Excellent sewing skills with strong attention to detail.

Experience working with different fabrics, including delicate and luxury materials.

Able to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.

Professional, reliable, organised and a strong team player.

Menswear experience is a bonus, but our main focus is women's fashion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead pattern making and garment construction in our dressmaking studio.

Draft professional patterns for a wide range of women's clothing.

Turn client designs and reference photographs into finished garments.

Carry out fittings, adjustments and pattern corrections.

Work closely with our production team to ensure accurate construction.

Maintain excellent quality control and professional finishing standards.

Ensure all assigned garments are completed within production deadlines.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Canggu, Bali

Working Days: Monday–Friday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: Based on experience and skill level.

IMPORTANT

This position is for an EXPERIENCED MASTER TAILOR, not a beginner or sewing assistant.

You must be highly confident in professional pattern making and producing quality women's garments independently.

Couture Mode Bali is a creative sewing, dressmaking, and fashion education studio based in Pererenan, Bali.

We are a small, professional team specialising in bespoke dressmaking, alterations, pattern making, garment sampling, and sewing education. Alongside our tailoring services, we run practical sewing classes and courses for adults, teenagers, and children, helping students build real sewing skills in a supportive and creative environment.

Our approach is focused on quality, craftsmanship, and slow fashion. We are not a mass-production factory. Every garment, alteration, sample, and sewing project is handled with care and attention to detail by our team of experienced tailors and pattern makers.

Education is an important part of Couture Mode Bali. We offer beginner classes, ongoing sewing programmes, private tuition, and structured courses, as well as working with local schools to provide sewing education for children and young people.

We believe in creating a welcoming, professional workplace where our team can grow, develop their skills, and take pride in their work. Because we work with both adults and children, we also take safeguarding seriously, with staff undergoing appropriate background checks and safeguarding training.
