We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and passionate Part-Time Teacher to conduct Phonics, Sensory, and Mathematics classes for young children.
Job Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Class Management
* Plan and conduct engaging Phonics, Sensory, and Mathematics classes.
* Deliver age-appropriate lessons using fun, interactive, and play-based teaching methods.
* Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
* Adapt teaching approaches based on students’ ages, abilities, and learning progress.
* Encourage children’s participation, curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
* Manage classroom activities and ensure students remain engaged throughout the sessions.
2. Phonics Class
* Teach basic phonics, letter recognition, letter sounds, and early reading skills.
* Introduce sounds and words through songs, flashcards, storytelling, and interactive games.
* Develop fun activities to support children’s early literacy and language development.
* Prepare age-appropriate learning materials and teaching resources.
3. Sensory Class
* Plan and facilitate sensory-based activities that encourage exploration through different textures, colors, sounds, and materials.
* Prepare sensory stations, trays, and hands-on activities based on weekly themes.
* Introduce creative activities that support children’s sensory development, fine motor skills, and curiosity.
* Ensure all sensory materials and activities are safe, clean, and age-appropriate.
* Encourage children to explore, experiment, and learn through play.
4. Mathematics Class
* Teach basic mathematical concepts such as number recognition, counting, sorting, patterns, shapes, and simple calculations.
* Use hands-on materials, educational games, and interactive activities to make learning enjoyable.
* Develop creative lesson plans that help children understand mathematical concepts through practical experiences.
* Adjust activities according to each child’s learning level and progress.
5. Lesson Preparation & Evaluation
* Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching materials, and classroom activities before each session.
* Set up and organize classroom materials and learning stations.
* Monitor students’ participation and learning progress.
* Provide feedback and updates regarding students’ development when needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
6. Team Collaboration
* Coordinate with the BloomingHaus teaching and operations team regarding class schedules and student needs.
* Participate in teacher meetings and training sessions when required.
* Contribute creative ideas for new lessons, activities, and class themes.
* Follow BloomingHaus teaching standards and classroom guidelines.
Qualifications
* Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
* Previous teaching experience with young children is preferred.
* Knowledge of phonics, early childhood mathematics, and sensory-based learning.
* Creative and enthusiastic about developing interactive learning activities.
* Patient, caring, responsible, and passionate about working with children.
* Good classroom management and communication skills.
* Able to prepare creative teaching materials and lesson plans.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Flexible and available to work according to the class schedule.
