About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Teacher – Digital Art & 3D Modeling to join our team and inspire the next generation of creators. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary school students, helping them develop their artistic, creative, and technical skills through hands-on digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Digital Art and 3D Modeling lessons for primary and secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and classroom activities aligned with learning objectives.
- Teach fundamental and intermediate concepts in digital drawing, illustration, and 3D modeling.
- Guide students in developing creative projects and digital portfolios.
- Adapt teaching methods according to students' age groups, skill levels, and learning needs.
- Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and digital literacy through project-based learning activities.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding schedules, student progress, and learning outcomes.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, showcases, or workshops when required.
Requirements
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Animation, Visual Communication Design, Multimedia, Game Art, Fine Arts, Education, or a related field.
- Proficient in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Krita, or equivalent.
- Familiar with 3D modeling software such as Blender or equivalent.
- Good conversational English skills are required.
- Able to communicate confidently in English and conduct classroom instruction in an English-speaking environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring children and teenagers.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with the academic team.
- Portfolio showcasing digital art and/or 3D modeling projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching, tutoring, workshop facilitation, or mentoring experience.
- Experience teaching students aged 6–18 years old.
- Ability to teach both Digital Art and 3D Modeling.
- Industry experience in animation, game development, digital art, or related creative fields is an advantage.
Availability
- Available to teach on weekdays during school hours.
- Teaching assignments may be conducted at designated partner schools in Jakarta.
- Working hours will depend on class assignments and school schedules.
