Position - Part Time
Job Responsibilities
- Teach and facilitate the “Brush Up Kaiwa” program (intensive Japanese conversation practice) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Monitor students’ progress and manage the administration of the “Step Up Kaiwa” program every Tuesday and Thursday.
- Collaborate with the teaching team at LPK Timedoor to develop learning materials and conduct Japanese conversation practice sessions.
- Evaluate students’ Japanese language development and their understanding of Japanese workplace culture.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with management and fellow instructors, including direct reporting to the LPK team.
Qualifications
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese. A valid JLPT certification (N3/N2/N1) is a plus.
- Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Japanese workplace culture and practices.
- Previous experience working or teaching at an LPK (Vocational Training Center) or professional experience working in Japan is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Comfortable working in an on-site environment and collaborating with a teaching team.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Work Location: On-site / WFO — Bali (LPK Timedoor)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: Flexible, with a primary focus on the afternoon-to-evening shift, 14:00–22:00 WITA
- Working Hours per Month: Minimum 130 hours and maximum 160 hours
- Compensation: Negotiable and will be discussed further during the interview and/or offer stage, based on experience and Japanese language proficiency.
