Job Description
The Paralegal will assist the firm’s lawyers in legal research, document preparation, and case management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under deadlines in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents (contracts, pleadings, filings, correspondence, etc.).
- Assist lawyer during hearings, trials and meetings.
- Conduct legal and factual research related to cases, regulations, and policies.
- Manage and organize legal files, case summaries, and supporting documents
- Monitoring and manage deadlines, including court dates and filling deadlines.
- Liaise with government offices and external clients for document submission and follow-up.
- Prepare and review basic legal drafts and due diligence reports under supervision.
- Provide administrative and clerical support for the legal team as needed.
- Support the Firm’s business development activities – such as helping with client proposals, updating firm profiles
- Assist in maintaining the firm’s online presence (LinkedIn, website) and help coordinate with the marketing team when needed.
- Participate in firm events, seminars or webinars to represent the firm professionally.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; experience as a paralegal or legal assistant is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian legal system and basic knowledge of corporate and IP law preferred.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal); able to draft correspondence in English.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and documentation skills.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic legal database tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a professional and proactive attitude.
