Join our Australian digital marketing agency as a Paid Media Specialist / Google Ads Expert. We're seeking a passionate, results-driven professional to manage high-impact campaigns for our diverse portfolio of Australian clients.
About this role:
Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our paid search strategy, managing multiple client accounts and driving measurable growth across diverse industries. This office-based position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge campaigns whilst being part of a collaborative, innovative team based in Australia.
What you'll be doing:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Developing and executing comprehensive paid search strategies across the Google Ads platform
Creating and managing high-performing Search, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Performance Max campaigns
Driving traffic, conversions, and revenue growth (for ecommerce clients)
Performance Management & Analysis
Conducting advanced keyword research to identify growth opportunities and optimise campaign performance
Regularly analysing campaign results using Google Analytics other analytics tools
Transform complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Monitoring industry trends and implement cutting-edge techniques to maintain competitive advantage
Budget Management
Managing budgets with precision, ensuring optimal spending allocation across campaigns
Forecasting spending accurately and provide regular performance reports to clients and internal teams
Overseeing multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards
Creative Optimisation & Testing
Crafting compelling ad copy and headlines that drive engagement and conversions
Collaborating with content and web development teams to optimise landing pages for maximum effectiveness
Continuously testing and refining ad creative, targeting, and bidding strategies
Cross-Channel Integration
Working closely with other digital marketing channels to ensure cohesive, integrated campaign approaches
Providing strategic input for overall digital marketing strategies and client growth initiatives
What we're looking for
Essential Requirements
Experience & Expertise:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads platform
Previous experience working with a US, UK, or Australian-based digital marketing agency is essential
Proven track record managing large-scale PPC campaigns with measurable results
Strong understanding of Google Search, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Performance Max campaigns
Expertise in keyword research, audience targeting, and conversion optimisation
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other PPC management tools
Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
Experience with budget management and accurate spend forecasting
Knowledge of conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance measurement
Professional Skills:
Exceptional English language skills (both written and verbal) - this is essential as you'll be working directly with Australian clients and team members
Outstanding copywriting abilities for creating compelling ad copy and headlines
Strong communication skills for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration
Proactive problem-solving approach with initiative to find solutions independently
Personal Attributes:

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of SEO principles and how they integrate with paid search
Knowledge of how to utlise AI tools to help boost and streamline campaign performance
