About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and technically capable OutSystems Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade low-code applications using the OutSystems platform, supporting both web and mobile solutions across our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy OutSystems applications (Reactive Web, Mobile, and Service Studio)
Translate business requirements into technical solutions using OutSystems low-code platform
Integrate OutSystems applications with REST/SOAP APIs, external databases, and third-party systems
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with OutSystems development best practices (architecture patterns, performance, security)
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and accessible frontend interfaces
Write and maintain unit tests and support quality assurance activities
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Maintain technical documentation for developed modules and integrations
Requirements
Technical Skills:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with OutSystems platform (Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime)
Proficiency in OutSystems Reactive Web and/or Mobile development
Solid understanding of OutSystems architecture patterns: 4-Layer Canvas, SOLID principles
Experience with REST API integration and consuming external web services
Basic knowledge of SQL (queries, stored procedures, data modeling)
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI customization
Understanding of OutSystems Forge components and how to extend or customize them
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Good communication skills — able to work with cross-functional teams
Self-driven with a proactive approach to learning and delivery
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
OutSystems Associate Developer certification (or higher)
Experience with OutSystems AI-assisted development features
Exposure to OutSystems ODC (OutSystems Developer Cloud)
Familiarity with Git or any version control system
Experience in healthcare, fintech, or enterprise software projects is a plus
