About Priority Confex

Priority Confex is an integrated exhibition contractor specializing in Exhibition Stand Design & Build, Exhibition Shell Scheme, Event & Festive Decoration, Retail & Interior Design, and Point-of-Sale (POS) Display solutions.

From concept and design to fabrication, installation, and dismantling, we deliver high-quality projects for local and international clients with a strong commitment to quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our operations and ensure every project is executed with excellence.

About This Role

This is a leadership position—not an administrative role.

We are looking for someone who can independently lead our operations with minimal supervision. You will be trusted to make operational decisions, solve problems proactively, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who naturally builds systems, leads people, improves processes, and keeps operations running smoothly. This role requires ownership, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining operational excellence.

You will work closely with the Director and cross-functional teams to ensure our business continues to scale through efficient operations and consistent project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Project Management

  • Lead the operational execution of all exhibition, event, and interior projects.
  • Develop project execution plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to client expectations.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve operational challenges.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery from planning through installation and handover.

Production & Workshop Management

  • Manage workshop production planning and daily operations.
  • Coordinate fabrication schedules, manpower, materials, and production capacity.
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently maintained throughout production.
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely material availability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality standards while optimizing operational costs.

Installation & Site Operations

  • Oversee installation schedules, logistics, transportation, and site execution.
  • Ensure installation teams are well-prepared and projects are executed safely and professionally.
  • Resolve on-site operational issues quickly and effectively.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the operations, production, and project teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance expectations and monitor team productivity.

Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, implement, and improve operational SOPs and workflows.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
  • Continuously improve efficiency, project visibility, and cost control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Candidates with backgrounds in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, MICE/Event Management, or related fields are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, project delivery, or production within a project-based business, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
    • Exhibition Stand Contractor
    • Exhibition & Convention Services
    • Event Decoration / Event Contractor
    • Retail & Interior Design
    • Point-of-Sale (POS) Display Manufacturing
    • Custom Booth & Display Fabrication
    • Custom Furniture / Joinery Manufacturing
    • Other project-based businesses involving design, fabrication, installation, and client delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project operations, production planning, fabrication, logistics, installation, and project execution.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly proactive, independent, and capable of making sound operational decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is a strong advantage.
  • Willing to be based in West Jakarta and travel to project sites when required.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
