Job description:
1. Daily Venue Operations
- Oversee all daily operations of Copper 30 and Elyzium, ensuring seamless guest experiences from opening to closing.
- Monitor staff scheduling, attendance, and shift changes to ensure full coverage.
- Conduct venue walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, lighting, music, and setup meet brand standards.
2. Staff Supervision and Development
- Manage front-of-house (FOH), bar, service, and security teams across both venues.
- Conduct daily briefings, staff training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all team members uphold service standards, dress code, and professionalism.
3. Service and Guest Experience
- Monitor guest interactions to maintain premium service levels.
- Handle VIP guests, complaints, and special requests personally.
- Coordinate smooth execution of themed nights, events, and activations (e.g. Sexy Wednesday, Flaming Fridays, etc.).
4. Inventory and Bar Management
- Oversee inventory of spirits, beer, mixers, and bar supplies.
- Work with suppliers to maintain stock levels and manage deliveries.
- Monitor liquor usage, minimize wastage, and prevent shrinkage or theft.
5. Event and Entertainment Coordination
- Coordinate with DJs, performers, promoters, and event hosts.
- Ensure event setup and technical needs (sound, lighting, visuals) are in place.
- Supervise timing, crowd flow, and guest engagement during events.
6. Cost Control and Budgeting
- Work with finance to manage monthly operational budgets.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
- Suggest upselling strategies and monitor performance of free-flow drink packages and add-ons.
7. Marketing and Promotion Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign execution.
- Ensure all in-venue branding, menus, and promotional materials are updated and consistent.
- Support influencer and partnership activations by ensuring VIP experiences are delivered flawlessly.
8. Safety, Compliance, and Licensing
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, fire safety, and building regulations.
- Supervise security team and manage crowd control protocols.
- Keep licenses and operational permits up to date.
9. Technology and Systems
- Oversee POS systems, music/AV controls, lighting systems, and guest list tools.
- Ensure staff are trained on all digital tools used in operations.
- Monitor CCTV footage as part of venue security oversight.
10. Reporting and Communication
- Report nightly and weekly operations summaries to upper management.
- Track KPIs like foot traffic, sales, guest retention, and staff performance.
- Recommend improvements to management based on data and feedback.
