Hotel Operations ManagerWe are seeking a highly dynamic, results-driven, and hands-on Hotel Operations Manager to oversee and elevate our daily hotel and resort operations.
As the Operations Manager, you will be the core driving force behind seamless cross-departmental coordination, exceptional guest satisfaction, and strict operational efficiency.
You will work closely with the General Manager to optimize profitability while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Oversight: Direct and monitor the daily operations of all core departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and F&B.
- Guest Experience & Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong floor presence to ensure the highest standards of guest service, promptly resolving complex guest issues or complaints.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Implement, review, and enforce hotel SOPs across all departments to guarantee consistency, safety, and efficiency.
- Cost & Budget Management: Monitor departmental expenses, optimize labor productivity, and manage operational costs to maximize gross operating profit (GOP).Inter-departmental Synergy: Conduct daily briefing sessions and foster strong collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Staff Leadership & Training: Lead, mentor, and evaluate department heads and staff, ensuring continuous training and development to enhance service quality.Facility Maintenance: Partner with the Chief Engineer to ensure regular preventive maintenance of the property, assets, and grounds.
- Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Operations Manager, FOM/Executive Housekeeper (with cross-exposure), or Operations Manager in 4/5-star hotels or premium resorts.Deep operational knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, and basic F&B workflows.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis-management capabilities.Proficiency in hospitality Property Management Systems (PMS) like VHP, Opera, or similar.
- Guest-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in English and Indonesian (both verbal and written).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
