POSITION: ON SITE GRAPHIC DESIGN SUPPORT
Placement: Head Office & On-Site Venues (Jakarta)
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Graphic & Branding Field Specialist, you will support our Graphic Supervisor by taking charge of the hands-on visual execution at exhibition venues. Your primary role is not back-office graphic designing, but rather ensuring that all artwork, booth brandings, wall wraps, banners, and signages are correctly printed, scaled, and installed according to production drawings. You will cross-check 2D/3D technical drawings against actual venue measurements, oversee vendor installation quality on-site, and solve practical visual issues under tight event setup timelines.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: Open to Vocational High School (SMK Grafis/Teknik) graduates with relevant field experience, or Diploma (D3) / Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Interior Design, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! (Field experience in events/exhibitions is a strong plus).
- Core Software Competency: Practical ability to operate AutoCAD (for reading drawings and verifying layout dimensions), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator (for checking artwork files, scale, and print specifications).
- Field-Oriented Mindset: Strong preference for hands-on, active site work at venues rather than sitting behind a desk.
- Material & Installation Knowledge: Good understanding of graphic materials (sticker vinyl, flexi banner, acrylic, hi-res printing, foam core) and practical installation methods (wrapping, mounting, banner tensioning).
- Eye for Detail: High accuracy in comparing actual venue installations with approved design mockups and technical drawings.
- High Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to be deployed directly to exhibition venues (e.g., ICE BSD, JCC, JIExpo) and work flexible hours, including overnight setup shifts and weekends.
- Active Communication: Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, printing vendors, and field installers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-Site Graphic Support: Support the Graphic Supervisor in overseeing the physical installation of exhibition graphics, booth brandings, stickers, backdrops, and signages at the venue.
- Drawing & Measurement Check: Read AutoCAD drawings and design files (Photoshop/Illustrator) to verify that print dimensions and placements match live venue measurements.
- Quality & Material Verification: Inspect printed materials on-site for color correctness, resolution, finishing quality, and damage prior to installation.
- Installation Oversight: Assist in directing vendors and field installers to ensure clean, bubble-free, and precise graphic application (such as sticker wrapping and banner mounting).
- Field Problem Solving: Identify and report installation discrepancies or material defects immediately to ensure quick on-site corrections.
- Post-Event Checking: Assist in monitoring the dismantling of graphic elements safely after the event concludes.
