Odoo Developer

As our business continues to expand, we are continuously improving our operational systems and digital processes to support efficiency and scalability across departments.

We are looking for an Odoo Developer Specialist to support the development, customization, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Odoo ERP system. This role will work closely with the Odoo Functional Specialist and internal departments to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on functional requirements and business needs.
2. Translate functional requirements into technical solutions using Python, Odoo Framework, ORM, and PostgreSQL.
3. Develop and customize Odoo models, views, reports, workflows, automated actions, and business logic.
4. Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party systems through APIs or other integration methods.
5. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve system stability and performance.
6. Support data migration, data structure improvements, and data processing to ensure accurate and reliable ERP data.
7. Customize and extend existing Odoo modules to support company-specific operational requirements.
8. Conduct testing, debugging, code review, and validation of system changes before deployment.
9. Develop custom Odoo modules when existing features are insufficient to meet business requirements.
10. Customize Odoo forms, fields, views, reports, dashboards, and automated processes using appropriate development methods.
11. Collaborate with the Odoo Functional Specialist, Data Analyst, internal departments, Odoo HQ, and external vendors on system development and technical requirements.
12. Continuously improve Odoo functionality, automation, system performance, and scalability as the business grows.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as an Odoo Developer or Odoo Technical.
2. Experienced in developing and customizing Odoo version 16 or above, with a strong understanding of Odoo architecture and framework.
3. Proficient in Python, with a strong understanding of Odoo ORM and PostgreSQL.
4. Experienced in Odoo module development, including models, views, reports, workflows, automated actions, and business logic.
5. Experience developing and maintaining API integrations and third-party system integrations.
6. Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions.
7. Experience working with Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or Accounting modules is highly preferred.
8. Familiarity with Git/version control, Odoo Studio, and software development best practices is a plus.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and closely with the Odoo Functional Specialist and internal teams.
