Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team on a 3-month or 6-month project-based contract for a client in the telecommunications industry located in Tangerang Selatan. This is a remote position with potential for contract extension or involvement in future projects.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo modules to support the client’s business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Odoo Development
- Customize and develop Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Enhance existing functionalities and optimize system performance.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems via API.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
2. System Analysis & Design
- Collaborate with the functional team to understand business needs.
- Design technical solutions to improve operational workflows using Odoo.
3. Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit testing and ensure functionality meets requirements.
- Deploy patches, updates, and modules into production environments.
4. Troubleshooting & Support
- Debug and resolve issues within Odoo modules and integrations.
- Provide technical support and basic training to internal users.
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers.
- Contribute ideas to improve development processes and system architecture.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo (v14 and above preferred).
- Proven track record in Odoo customization, development, and integration.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Python and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
- Familiar with XML, QWeb, and Odoo APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with On-Premise Odoo deployment is required.
- Solid understanding of Odoo architecture, ORM, and web services.
- Basic knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS) and server management.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
