Deskripsi pekerjaan Nursery / Playgroup Homeroom Teacher – Talent Pool Global Prestasi School
TK GP Kids, part of Yayasan Harapan Global Mandiri and a sister school of Global Prestasi School, is building a Talent Pool for finding a passionate and committed Nursery / Playgroup Homeroom Teacher to support our Early Childhood Education (ECE) team.
Candidates will be considered for teaching opportunities this semester or in the upcoming semester, depending on changes in our school staffing needs based on class formation and student enrollment.
Position Type: Full-Time
Class Level: Nursery / Playgroup (May also be placed in Kindergarten levels in the future)
Location: TK GP Kids (Pondok Kelapa Indah, Blok B.3 No. 1, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta)
Responsibilities
- Teach and nurture young children through engaging, age-appropriate, and child-centered learning experiences.
- Plan and implement learning activities that support children’s cognitive, language, physical, social-emotional, and early independence skills.
- Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to explore.
- Establish positive routines and provide appropriate guidance to support children’s early social and behavioral development.
- Observe, monitor, and document children’s developmental progress and provide meaningful feedback to parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student development, classroom activities, and learning outcomes.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with parents, co-teachers, and other school staff to support each child’s development.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to prepare learning materials and classroom activities.
- Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, meetings, and professional development programs.
- Support a positive and nurturing school environment that reflects the values and educational approach of TK GP Kids.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (PGPAUD/ECE) or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching Nursery, Playgroup, or Kindergarten students is preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Passionate about working with young children and committed to supporting their holistic development.
- Able to communicate and teach confidently in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong classroom management, observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, warm, creative, and responsive to the individual needs of young children.
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Proficient in basic digital tools and classroom technology.
- Willing to be placed at TK GP Kids, Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta.
