Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our client's team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is exclusively open to candidates who are eager to advance or launch their network engineering career in an international work environment.
Whether you are an experienced network professional, a fresh IT graduate, or engineer in other field of IT looking to shift into network engineering, we welcome candidates who are passionate, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure: Design, construct, and operate Data Center Networks (LAN/WAN) and Hub Networks (LAN/WAN).
- Connectivity & Security: Manage external connection networks (including Internet connections), design security countermeasures, and provide technical support for UTM products.
- Operations & Maintenance:
- Perform vitality and performance monitoring.
- Handle network failures, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Formulate and execute equipment replacement plans before product support ends (EOL).
- Facility & Service Management: Handle facility adjustments related to hub networks and manage internal coordination for network service delivery.
- Project Promotion: Lead and promote network projects (commensurate with experience).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experienced Candidates: Hands-on experience in network design, building, or operations.
- Fresh Graduates / IT Career Switchers: Open to fresh grads or candidates with backgrounds in other IT fields who are willing to shift into network engineering.
- CCNA certification, OR a strong commitment to study and obtain CCNA certification in the near future.
- JLPT N3 certification, or equivalent conversational Japanese ability (capable of handling workplace communication).
