As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the company's network infrastructure. This includes designing, deploying, and configuring robust LAN/WLAN networks and managing core hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Your day-to-day focus will center on maximizing network uptime and security through continuous monitoring, swift troubleshooting, and implementing strict security protocols (including VLANs, VPNs, and QoS). Additionally, you will maintain meticulous network documentation and serve as the technical liaison between internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless connectivity and operations.
💼 Responsibilities
• Design, install, and configure LAN and WLAN networks
• Configure and manage network devices (Router, Switch, Firewall, Access Point)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot disruptions
• Maintain network security (Firewall, VLAN, VPN, QoS, Access Control)
• Document network topology and configurations
• Coordinate with IT team and relevant vendors
✅ Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer, IT Infrastructure Engineer, or an equivalent role.
• Proficient in designing, installing, and configuring LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks.
• In-depth experience in configuring and managing network devices and firewall (such as Cisco, Mikrotik, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, etc. — can be tailored to your company's infrastructure).
• Strong understanding and practical experience in managing network security, including Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and Access Control.
• Strong problem-solving (troubleshooting) capabilities and experience using network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Zabbix, PRTG, or SolarWinds).
• Highly disciplined in creating technical documentation, such as network topology diagrams and device configuration logs.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with internal IT teams and manage third-party vendors.
• (Preferred) Possessing professional certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), MTCNA/MTCRE (Mikrotik), or other network security certifications is highly advantageous.
